• Accountable for providing guidance and practical expertise to the client's line managers to ensure the best performance of both their team as a whole, and the individuals within it, highlighting issues with a strategic, legal or employee relations impact to the HRBP.
• Management and administration of the client's Discipline and Grievance process.
• Management and administration of the client's absence and performance management processes.
• Support the Accenture HRBP in the collation and analysis of HR information, including the monitoring of HR activity against key performance metrics, to ensure that Accenture is adding value to the client's business.
• Ensure that the Accenture HRBP is fully supported in managing issues around organisational change and development; such as reorganisation, mobilisation / de-mobilisation (TUPE), restructures, acquisitions and disposals, including ensuring 'due diligence' is completed and effective communication.
• Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the client's HR initiatives aimed at improving people management and business performance.
• Ensure both site and central HR administration functions (e.g. HQ payroll, HR database, production of recruitment offers, acceptances, induction) are delivered to the appropriate standard.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to solve complex problems working on own initiative
• Ability to interpret HR policies and provide appropriate advice
• Awareness of data protection requirements specific to HR systems and processes
• Sound knowledge of Employment Law
• Experience of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience of business intelligence tools and providing analytical reporting
Experience:
• A customer focused and process driven environment
• Working within a unionised and or diverse workforce
• Working within a commercially focused environment
• Able to understand business strategy and the positive impact HR can have on this
• Prioritisation of own workload, demonstrating organisational skills in order to meet deadlines
• Dealing with problems and designing robust solutions
Professional Qualifications:
• Qualified to degree or equivalent standard
• CIPD qualified or studying towards equivalent professional qualification
