Customer Journey Analyst

In line with this strategy, National Express has created a new position of Customer Journey Analyst to ensure network strategy proposals deliver maximum growth.
We are looking for a top class analytical candidate who will increase the impact of the Network Strategy team through robust customer and market analysis. In this exciting new role, you will liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximum return.

Key responsibilities will include;
• Providing data, reports and interpretations to the Network Strategy team on request, including revenue, passenger, profitability and performance data
• Adaptation of information from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team for use in the planning process
• Working alongside the business units and Customer Insight team to develop new sources of data, to identify origin / destination patterns and tag these, where possible, to individual customers
• Generating and refining customer profiles based on individual routes, locations, flows, markets or product segments
• Using spatial analysis software to produce maps and reports based on customer journeys and market potential on request
• Providing management information to monitor the effectiveness of network or product changes, reporting on a regular basis
• Contributing as required to the development of network strategy proposals or the National Express strategic plan

Who we're looking for
This is a superb opportunity to make a huge impact in a forward thinking company. National Express is looking for someone with an analytical background, and an eye for detail.

If you are the right person for this role you will also fit the following criteria;
• SQL query writing experience, and/or advanced Excel macro experience<BR>• Ideally, spatial planning/mapping software experience<BR>• Experience in geodemographic analysis would also be an advantage
• Team player
• Very detail conscious, highly accurate
• Thorough and well organized
• Logical, with good presentation skills
