The HR Manager role reports directly to the Business Unit HR Manager and will be responsible for:
• Providing informed HR advice and support to the contract management teams.
• Providing a proactive service in the key areas of employee and industrial relations.
• Providing generalist HR support in relation to recruitment and selection, training and development and succession planning as well as key HR projects(eg TUPE)
• Support the HR team on a variety of other contracts and projects
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• Proven knowledge of industrial relations and working with trade unions at officer level.
• Influencing and persuasive skills required to be effective in a multi contract role.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills in order to balance workload.
• Resilience and flexibility in what is a demanding and varied role with many day to day challenges.
• CIPD qualified.
