This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Cisco Telephony Support Engineer to become a UC Support Engineer (Unified Comms) within a team of Cisco voice and data networking professionals already working within this high-growth area of technology. Convergence technologies, such as LAN, IP Telephony, Wireless networks and security, is an area that this IT Solution Provider is looking to focus more heavily on and increase it's already strong market presence.

The responsibilities of this role involve providing outstanding 2nd and 3rd line technical support to large blue-chip customers on a range of Cisco telephony products. The role holder will also be required to assist on other connected areas of technology - mainly on the voice and IPT side. You will join a team of networking support professionals in a primarily remote support role but on occasion you will need to perform activities on client sites.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate to become a UC Support Engineer within this IT Solution Provider will possess demonstrable experience of the following areas:

-Support of Cisco telephony products.
- CCVP Qualification (or at least evidence of you working toward this) and/or a CCIE Qualification.
- General telephony product knowledge (PABX, Avaya, CTI platform products, etc).
- Cisco CallManager, IPCC and Unity products.
-Proven abilities within incident management and teamwork.
- Strong customer service and an excellent telephone manner.

They have a large number of offices throughout the UK and therefore the role has options as to where you can be based. This role can either be based in Shropshire, Oxfordshire, or even from home.
