Mechanical Contracts Engineer

Permanent ⁄ £35000 - £45000

As Mechanical Contracts Engineer you will ensure that contracts are carried out within the agreed time frames and budget and that current engineering standards are met.
Reporting to the Senior Contracts Engineer you will oversee a range of Commercial projects, including prisons, hospitals and hotels ranging in value from £500k - £4m.
You will ensure that all design work is carried out in accordance with current engineering standards, that material and sub contractors are procured in a cost effective manner and that solutions provided are commercially viable and cost effective.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven senior level experience within the M & E sector working on projects up to a value of £5m.
•A provenability to manager and lead a team of engineers.
• First class communication and inter-personal skills.
• Full understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
