The role is to provide quality financial support to budget holders and produce meaningful analysis to enable budgets to be controlled.
Your duties would include amongst others:
• Prepare monthly budget monitoring reports for budget holders
• Provide pro-active financial support and advice to budget holders
• Month and Year end Management Accounts pack
• Scrutinise and review budget submissions
• Assist with preparation of three year budget plans
• Assist with Year end statutory accounts
• Pro-actively seek out and develop improvements to the quality and timeliness of management information.
• To be involved with cross divisional activities, support colleagues and add value to the finance team

Who we're looking for
The person who is successful in this role will be a team player with management accounting experience. You will have or be studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA; CIPFA; ACA; ACCA).
You will possess the following attributes:
• Ability to plan for and implement changes and improvements
• Ability to exercise judgement
• Able to consult with and negotiate with a wide variety of people and develop good working relationships
• Ability to use oral and written communication effectively
• Able to co-ordinate and organise the work of others, and to coach and train colleagues.
