My client is a leading international Business Services group based in the Southern Home Counties. This new role will involve negotiating new commercial contracts and sub-contracts in support of commercial bidding teams for the UK & Ireland region.You will also be required to assist existing business units to negotiate and draft amendments to an existing portfolio of contracts for services. Your varied role will also involve responding to legal and regulatory enquiries, including Freedom of Information Act enquiries, drafting Confidentiality Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding with our commercial partners and providing advice and training to the Commercial Managers within our business units.
Who we're looking for
• You must be a qualified solicitor or legal adviser with a company-commercial background.
• Knowledge of MOD / CONDO contracting is beneficial but not essential.
• You must combine a high standard of literacy and a sound knowledge of the principles of contract law and their practical application.
• An organised, methodical and pro-active approach is also important along with an analytical and common-sense approach to problem-solving and risk management.
