As a Financial Planning Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:
Supporting the operational planning and performance management cycles in accordance with the needs of the UK Executive, ensuring compliance with Group policy and timelines
Contributing to performance improvement processes within the team
Leading the operational planning process for the UK
Providing advice, detailed information and supporting data as necessary to assist the business in reviewing its financial performance
Monitoring performance against agreed plans, budgets, KPIs and targets; highlighting variances and ensuring they are appropriately addressed
Contributing to the preparation of the regular monthly and quarterly MI packages and CEO reports, ensuring content is accurate, comprehensive, relevant and up-to-date
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with the UK Finance Business Partnering teams so as to facilitate open and constructive dialogue and collaboration
Who we're looking for
Your skills and qualifications as a Financial Planning Analyst will ideally include:
Qualified Accountant
Relevant experience in the financial services industry
Ability to deliver insightful financial information in challenging conditions
Previous experience in operational planning, stakeholder management, budgeting and forecasting
Can demonstrate examples of having challenged accepted practice and process
