Overview of role
• Providing an audit function to three UK offshore jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey & Isle of Man.
Main Duties:
• Ensuring that risks incurred in the business are properly managed. Reporting on risk measurement and monitoring tools.
• Preparing Audit methodologies, performing audits, reporting findings and recommendations to Management with subsequent follow up.
• Preparing and updating risk assessments to record and evaluate main families of risks; reviewing and reporting on controls, systems and incidents to local and Head Office Management with recommendations.
• Follow up for changes in the business and regulatory environment, the development of new systems, products and procedures.
Who we're looking for
Key Skills
• Strong general banking experience with regard to private banking, including fiduciary business, treasury, securities and operational function of an International Bank.
• Good judgmental and communication skills with the ability to plan and respect deadlines.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to present complex situations and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders
