This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join this large Telco's organisation. The successful applicant will provide legal support to the Mobile Devices business. Key responsibilities include:
- drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (supply, service, IT/software/content, distribution, marketing)
- identify and mitigate commercial risk of deals proposed by the business
- have a good general understanding of legal principles surrounding competition law, consumer law, IP, regulatory, etc.
- ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- provide legal training to the business as appropriate
- create and maintain relationships with the business and finance colleagues

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified solicitor with substantial knowledge and relevant commercial / legal experience gained within the technology or telecoms industry. You will have a well developed commercial awareness with a proactive approach. You will have strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills and will have the ability to prioritize and work under pressure. You will have a solid understanding of financial concepts and issues with the capability to work across business units and countries. A second European language would be highly advantageous.
