Main Purpose of Job
Working from the Head Office in the Cayman Islands, the IT Manager will manage the provision of IT systems and services world-wide to ensure that the company maximizes the benefit and value of IT.

Main Responsibilities
• Define system and service requirements through formal specifications.
• Working with the Group CIO and Group COO to define the IT Strategy including a three year roadmap.
• Manage the system procurement process for all packaged software and services, including negotiation of contracts and terms.
• Manage the Funds Administration Analyst and any future dedicated IT staff.
• Monitor and report on services including those provided by group to this subsidiary.
• Provide support and advice to staff in Cayman and other offices.
• Identify opportunities for IT to assist the business with growth and efficiency.
• Oversee the risk management, security, business continuality requirements and solutions.
• Oversee the IT aspects of audits including SAS 70 on behalf of the group.
• Work with the CIO and COO to establish the IT budget and financial controls.
• Oversee the portfolio of IT projects as a Program Manager.
• Manage the IT aspects of any office moves, relocations or start ups.

Who we're looking for
Our client's systems are both home-grown and packaged. The successful candidate will primarily focus on fund administration systems. However, accounting and database systems and services will also form part of your responsibility. The IT Manager will manage an investment funds System Developer, and will work closely with a team of developers focused on investment funds related systems.
Applications are welcome from successful IT managers with a proven track record at a management level. You will have a solid technical background that includes project management and systems analysis. You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of financial services systems, and in particular fund administration and fund accounting systems.
