Job Role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting, preparing annuel financial statements and publication accounts for allocated client companies in the category Securitization SPV's (Special Purpose Vehicles). Experience with SICAR and fund structures would be a plus
- Responsible for the preparation of interim reports, consolidation reports, cash reports and other financial results for these SPV companies in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS or any other international accounting standard
- Ensure that all tax calculations comply with local regulations
- Work independently in all financial matters related to allocated clients, co-operate with others according to the needs of the accounting department
- Day-to-day contact with the clients' local and international advisors such as lawyers, tax advisors, auditors and investment managers
- Assist and when needed provide training to junior accountants with day-to-day issues
- Reporting to the Head of Accounting
Who we're looking for
Technical Skills:
- You have an education in finance and accounting, preferably an international accounting degree on university level.
- You are fluent in English (mandatory). Fluency in other European languages would be an asset.
- You are Computer-literate with preferably an excellent command of Excel, Access and accounting systems
Personal Skills:
- You have good management, communication and organisational skills
- You are service-oriented and possess a pro-active attitude
- You are able to demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and to work independently
- You are able to work in a team, and under pressure, to meet deadlines
Experience:
- Ideally to have experience in a professional environment, preferably in a Trust Company, Domiciliary Agency, or Audit firm within an international financial services industry
- You have experience working with your own client portfolio of complex corporate structures engaged in securitization and hybrid transactions
