Job Role
Organize and execute the forecasting process and obtain information from relevant sources to understand future demand for parts, to provide the most accurate forecast possible each month and determine appropriate adjustments to the forecast
-Maintain in-depth understanding of demand drivers and focus on their impacts to future demand
-Recognize changes in customer demand early on and account for in forecast
-Analyze emerging trends, impact of new product introductions, new market conditions, etc. and incorporate into forecasting process
-Conduct and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly plans and adjust according to parameters and policies
-Conduct ongoing reconciliations and audits to insure inventory reporting
-Assist in the implementation of inventory strategy / inventory reduction
-Collaborate with planners and relevant business leads in making decisions and tradeoffs that balance supply and demand
-Escalate issues that exceed
-Adhere to global standards
Who we're looking for
-Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative field, or equivalent
-Supply chain and Forecasting modelling experience
-Demonstrated ability to understand and apply standard analytical concepts and forecasting methodology
-Demonstrated understanding of forecasting processes and how it supports the supply chain effort
-Familiarity with the concepts of system analysis, design and process improvement
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with heavy and uneven workloads and deadlines
-Ability to perform and adapt in a changing business environment
-Expertise in mathematical and statistical analysis and modelling
-Strong organizational and project management skills
-Experience with ERP and supply chain systems; SAP preferred
-Proficiency in MS Office products
-English fluency
