Your main accountabilities will be:
Definition and implementation of strategic sourcing for a commodity segment or subcategory;
Negotiation of contracts and lowest total cost of ownership for commodity segments;
Implementation of framework agreements;
Analysis of existing sourcing markets and exploration of new market areas;
Ensuring full implementation of category sourcing strategy;
Guaranteeing on time delivery of identified cost savings and value creation opportunities;
Building up and managing a strong relationship with global key preferred suppliers. This will include: monitor of supplier capability and development potential, review of supplier responses to RFP, coordination and preparation of supplier communication and optimization of a supplier base;
Setup of a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) / supplier ranking matrix opportunities;
Close collaboration with internal management, customers and experts towards common goals.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have
A Bachelor degree in business, a quantitative field or equivalent;
Experience in a strategic purchasing role;
Ideally knowledge of the Parts business in heavy equipment, automotive or related industry;
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, initiate actions, and make effective decisions;
Strong negotiation and communication skills;
Experience with ERP and Supply Chain systems - SAP preferred
Proficiency in MS Office products;
Customer focused to meet both internal and external customer needs;
The ability to build up networking;
Fluency in English and additional European language(s) of advantage.
