Job Role
The purpose of this position is to:
Perform analyses, run planned and ad hoc reports comparing actual to inventory plan levels to understand drivers which impact variances in order for the planning process to ensure the right part, in the right quantity, at the right place, at the right time is delivered to the customer.
Further responsibilities will be to:
Perform appropriate adjustments to meet targeted levels in system including balancing and/or disposition of excess and obsolete parts;
Generate, analyze and summarize scheduled inventory performance reports (e.g., inventory turns);
Monitor customer service performance metrics (e.g. complete and on time unit fill);
Analyze inventory holdings and generate scheduled and ad hoc reports;
Work with the planning team to monitor excess and/or obsolete inventory positions.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's Degree Business a quantitative field or equivalent;
Experience in supply chain analysis or supply chain planning;
Knowledge and understanding of Forecasting and Inventory Planning;
Business and product knowledge: understanding of how key events affect product demand, product history and trends;
A detailed understanding of the role of inventory in the business and its impact on service levels;
The Ability to see interdependency between a set of variables and implications;
Strong organizational skills in project management, goal setting, work planning and meeting facilitation;
Experience with ERP and supply chain systems; SAP preferred;
Proficiency in MS Office products;
English fluency and additional European language(s) an advantage.
