Having recently signed a £13bn, 27-year contract with the UK Ministry of Defence, AirTanker are now building a highly capable and committed team and have a requirement for a Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include the development of finance systems and processes to efficiently deliver company growth (to support an organisation of 500 people within the next 3 years).
You will also be responsible for the preparation of management and statutory accounts using Sage Line 200, VAT returns. Liaising with auditors and the bank, and supervising a Finance Administrator will also form part of your role.
Who we're looking for
You will already have experience of working in small business and have a good knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements. Applying your skills and experience to help build our organisation will prove no problem for you. Ideally, you'll be a qualified accountant or hold a part qualification along with experience.

About our client
AirTanker Services have commenced the process of establishing an Air-to-Air refuelling and Air Transport capability for the RAF, through a full service offering, including the provision of 14 A330 aircraft. In addition to this exciting strategic and operational challenge, and to achieve our objectives, we also need to develop a fully operational civil airline.
This role is currently based in Bristol but will be relocating to new facilities near RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, in October 2008.
