The National Account Manager (Major Accounts) will be tasked with building and managing a profitable portfolio of client accounts and provides potential for adding value to the Major Accounts segment of the business in relation to value and volume. You will be selling from a portfolio of energy products and services into the corporate marketplace.
The role is predominantly account management orientated and you will be dealing with senior economic decision makers and management within target organisations in order to maximise revenue and growth potential. Much of the relationship will be dealt with face-to-face and you will be the key point of contact for the relationships. Equally, you will work closely with other internal teams such as Operations and the wider account teams to ensure service delivery and requirements are being met, as well as to look for further opportunities from a new business perspective that the company can exploit.
Who we're looking for
The National Account Manager (Major Accounts) will ideally come from an energy related industry or background but candidates will be considered from other areas. The post holder will also be able to demonstrate the majority of the following:
• A proven track record in sales predominantly from an account management or business development perspective.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a high degree of communication ability, both written and oral.
• A good level of business and commercial acumen.
• Excellent relationship building and client management skills.
• An ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team.
• A high attention to detail and organisational skills.
