Warehouse and Distribution Manager

Due to an internal re-organisation to support continued business growth, a new role has been created to manage the warehouse and distribution relationship for the baby division of Nutricia. This will be responsible for the following:
• Maintaining and building the relationship with the existing 3PL and 4PL organisations
• Defining best practice and ensuring maximum integration of Nutricia operations from a supply chain perspective
• Managing the budget and budgetary process
• Ensuring robust reporting of the supply chain performance
• Lead continuous improvement activity focused on enhancing quality, cost and service delivery
• Leadership of a team
• Involvement in project activity
• Handling customer service issues in conjunction with the customer logistics team

Who we're looking for
Your background is likely to come from a similar environment, but other industries will be considered as will effective managers from either 3PL or in-house operations . The role will require a warehousing and distribution manager that is capable of understanding a fast moving multi customer operation, and work successfully with the third party operator.

The successful candidate will be focussed on continuous improvement with a strong track record of delivery in previous roles. They will display a history of relationship management and commercial acumen combined with a track record in budgetary management. The incumbent will be head office based and will need to be able to interact across different departments with a focus on cost, quality and service delivery.
