Job Role
In this new role, your task is to ensure that IKEA Supply AG's global business is carried out in compliance with the applicable indirect tax regulations. The actual tax reporting process however, is the responsibility of IKEA Supply AG's International VAT Accounting Manager. You will report to the Finance Manager of IKEA Supply AG. Furthermore, you will be a member of the IKEA Group of companies' global indirect tax management team and in that capacity report to the group's global VAT and Indirect Tax Coordinator in the Netherlands.
Who we're looking for
Your background includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally to have experience in VAT. You have worked in an advisory rather than VAT reporting capacity. International experience within a "Big Four" firm or multinational corporation is essential. You have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. You take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and take initiative when necessary. You speak and write fluent English, our working language. Proven leadership skills are an advantage.

IKEA Supply AG, located in Pratteln, near Basel, in Switzerland, is a company with a central responsibility for purchase and wholesale activities within the IKEA Group of companies. It is currently in an ambitious process of extending the scope of its worldwide activities. This development triggers indirect VAT obligations in various countries in and outside Europe. Therefore we are looking to strengthen our Finance department with an International Indirect Tax Specialist.
