Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of this business critical operation. You will be responsible for KPI adherence, process improvement, development and retention of staff with direct responsibility over the transport functions. You will have experience in chilled and frozen distribution and have a track record of managing large teams.
Who we're looking for
Man Management experience in a unionised environment is essential and a strong understanding of lean management methodology. Management of a significant transport fleet in excess of300 in a FMCG background is critical. You will be able to demonstrate and explain your achievements that have had both a direct and positive result on productivity and profitability. You will be of graduate calibre and hold a CPC.
