Senior Internal Communications Manager

• Proactively work with business leaders to translate business strategy into internal communications strategy, plans and materials in the context of wider internal communication activities and in line with agreed governance.
• Proactively provideIC consultancy support to the business as necessary to communicate the business strategy and embed the vision and values
• To drive best practice standards and processes down to local level and work with local areas to ensure alignment with Cluster
• To manage communication flow across thebusiness and maintain consistency of message and approach
• To proactively work with business leaders, leadership teams and managers to improve Colleague understanding, responsibilities and capability across the business
• Develop tools to ensure on-going measurement of effective communication channels

Who we're looking for
• Internal communication strategy development
• Developing and maintaining strong business and stakeholder relationships
• Strategic approach with focus on the 'bigger picture'
• Strong channel strategy and management, audience segmentation
• Planning, writing and production of communication materials
• Good knowledge and understanding of communication theories and practices
• Project planning/management, Knowledge and understanding of the structures and roles across the different business units
• Considerable in-depth experience of the use and application of creative internal communication techniques
• Strong track record of influencing and managing relationships at Director level
