Tax Manager

As Tax Manager for this Investment and Pension provider your key purpose will be to undertake the tax compliance and reporting services to meet the needs of the business. You will also contribute to the strategic direction of the group as appropriate.
Your key responsibilities will be to
• Assist in communicating the financial and risk implications of change in legislations, GAAP, market or tax authority practice to the business
• Support the senior tax management team
• Assist in delivering tax strategy
• Maintaining relationships with other tax functions within the group
• Share information and knowledge and identify new opportunities across the business
• Advise on tax changes which will impact their business and maintain relationships with the business for which the role is responsible.
• Ensure that policies, procedures and controls are in place and working effectively to enable the group to meet its statutory and reporting obligations in accordance with the the Groups requirements.

You should be able to show sound planning and control techniques in your approach to business and be confident in making use of information to come to informed business decisions.
Motivation, and drive are imperative to your success within the business. You should be pro active and have a passion to succeed. Being ACA or CTA qualified as well as having post qualifying experience within a similar industry will stand you in good stead to becoming the successful candidate.
