As a Senior Garment Technologist on the Menswear department, you are required to implement the Technical / supplier strategy for area of responsibility, driving continual improvement in product and process. To manage the development and production of product ensuring that the quality meets customer expectations, while maximising launch availability and margin. Manage the smooth running of the Q.C. Department.
Who we're looking for
You will have:
Knowledge of developing product for fit, quality and performance
Experience of successfully implementing strategy
Professional qualification in Fashion, Clothing or Textiles
Thorough knowledge of garment construction , pattern cutting techniques and the fitting process
Good knowledge of fabric testing standards and care labelling
Good knowledge of product safety legislation with regards to the design and manufacture of childrenswear
Some knowledge of garment wash techniques/ processes
A good understanding of fashion retail processes
A good understanding of the Fat Face competition and their product
A good understanding of Garment production systems
An understanding of ethical sourcing
