A leading organisation for independent retailers and wholesalers within the food and drink sector. An exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join this business as a managing director. Leading all strategic and operational activities for both the group and the wholesale division. Reporting directly to the chief executive officer and member wholesale council. This is an executive board level role with the remit to drive future success and performance.

Who we're looking for
As an ambassador and leader of the group working closely with both members and key sector bodies to provide and support the independent wholesale business sector, you will be commercially astute, charismatic and influential, with the confidence and resilience to add value and contribute to the continued development of the business. With an already established track record of success at a senior management or director level within a fast paced high volume trading environment, you will be able to demonstrate evidence of strategic commercial and managerial capabilities, ideally but not necessarily within the whole sale sector.
