Cash Management Accountant

As Cash Management Accountant working from their Glasgow site your key responsibilities will be to work within the cash and treasury team to ensure accurate allocation of cash received for the company and it's subsidiaries. You will assist in performing the back office cash function for the group treasury department. You will ensure all incoming cash is received and all payments are made as required. You will be involved with approximately £400 million passing through the sterling bank account each month.

Your principal accountabilities shall be
• To proactively interface with the business and resolve any queries relating to cash management.
• To take responsibility for the reconciliation of cash and treasury balance sheets.
• To provide a back office service to the Group Treasury Department
• Ensure all transactions to the banks are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
• To take responsibility for accurate allocation of all cash received.
• To reconcile daily files and ensure accurate payments are made to 3rd party operators.

Being able to analyse and evaluate data effectively is imperative to be considered successful in this role. you should have full understanding and knowledge of all Microsoft systems as well as general ledger and Oracle.
