Marketing Communications Executive

The Marketing Communications Executive will contribute to the implementation of the communications strategy during an exciting time for the business, supporting the Communications Manager in the development and roll-out of a variety of external and internal communications material.

You will:

• Use your copy-writing skills to write, edit and proof read internal and external publications, leaflets and promotional materials.
• Support the launch of newly-developed products through appropriate communications to customers and staff, working closely with the Product Marketing team.
• Own and implement B&CE's corporate branding so that all communications reflect the brand guidelines.
• Contribute to the re-development and maintenance of the organisation's Internet and internal intranet.
• Work alongside marketing and advertising agencies regarding communications to support the marketing of new and existing products.
• Participate in corporate events and seminars to promote and raise awareness of B&CE and its product range.

Who we're looking for
• You can demonstrate excellent creative copy writing skills, an understanding of good copy and design and a strong eye for detail.
• You have a track record of contributing to successful external and internal communications materials and experience of working with external marketing and advertising agencies.
• You will be looking for a challenge and one where your contribution directly impacts the success of the business.
• You understand the financial services industry and markets and have a good technical appreciation of financial products, coupled with a communications background.
• You are comfortable working with databases and with using the Internet and internal intranet as communication tools.
• You are hardworking, in your approach, with a desire to make a difference.
• You are intelligent, articulate and persuasive, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to represent the organisation externally.
• You can work independently, with a positive 'can do' attitude and an ability to find ways round obstacles to achieve goals to meet deadlines.
