Product Marketing Executive

The Product Executive will support the Product Manager in reviewing B&CE's current product offering and in developing new products to meet customer needs in line with the organisation's overall business strategy.
You will:
• Use your research and analysis skills to help define market opportunities for existing and new product areas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of customer acquisition and retention strategies for new and existing products in order to maximise market share.
• Assist in assessing product profitability through an appreciation of the financial drivers, so as to help to maximise potential income for the organisation and to support strategic decisions
• Work in conjunction with the Sales team to ensure distribution perspectives are understood and incorporated into new product design.
• Contribute to the promotion and marketing of developed products to customers, working closely with the Communications team to ensure that products are presented and packaged in accordance with B&CE's guidelines.
Who we're looking for
To be successful in this Product Executive role:
• You will be looking for a challenge and one where your contribution directly impacts the direction of the business.
• You understand the financial services industry and markets and have a good technical appreciation of financial products, coupled with a product marketing background.
• You naturally empathise with distribution and seek ways to exploit sales opportunities. Knowledge of the Employee Benefit Consultancy market would be advantageous.
• You are hardworking, in your approach, with a desire to make a difference.
• You can demonstrate creative flair with a strong eye for detail
• You are intelligent, articulate and persuasive, able to present plans logically and to represent the organisation externally.
• You can work independently, with a positive 'can do' attitude and an ability to find ways round obstacles to achieve goals to meet deadlines.
