Job Role
Development and organization of the customs strategy in Europe;
Ensure compliance with all customs as well as foreign trade regulations;
Creation of guidelines, determination of standard operating procedures for import and export;
Tariff classification of goods based on the Harmonized Tariff System;
Build strong relationships with the customs authorities and country customs responsible persons, e.g. Logistics or Purchasing Managers;
Manage relationships with all relevant interfaces from Supply Chain, Finance, IT and external service providers;
Implement a regular internal customs reporting;
Harmonize Tariff codes on European level;
Ensure readiness for legal requirements, e.g. Atlas.
Who we're looking for
Graduate level or equivalent;
Experience in a business related environment, supply chain and customs experience mandatory;
Basic knowledge of finance;
Negotiation, communication and presentation skills;
Assertiveness;
International experience preferred;
Fluent English skills essential.
