Stock Accountant

?X All aspects of stock accounting including:
?X Maintenance and continual evolution of a documented and robust reconciliation method that accurately includes all data streams relating to stock movements, and ensures the consistency of stock valuation between stock management, MIS and financial systems
?X Stock budgeting and forecasting
?X Company stock provisioning
?X Supporting production of company stock accounting policies and ensuring that accounting and system changes in other functions do not compromise accuracy of stock

?X Analysis of the key drivers of stock levels and throughput, work with business to ensure maximum return on investment
?X Work with buying & supply functions to understand and manage problem stock
?X Managing an assistant accountant

Who we're looking for
?X Qualified accountant (Experience of stock accounting preferable but not essential)
?X Strong IT skills including ability to manipulate large volumes of data
?X Proven analytical skills
?X Ability to challenge the status quo
?X Effective influencer with great communication skills
?X Ability to work with a wide cross-section of people
