This Health, Safety & Environment Officer role is required to lead all on site H&S activities within a subsidiary of a large global company. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading, auditing, maintaining and improving an effective Health, Safety and Environmental Quality program.
• Provide HS&E maturity gap analysis/ develop action plans to ensure continuous performance improvement.
• Champion HS&E teams, train /support safety representatives.
• Manage on-site health management services provided by local health service providers, including workforce health examinations.
• Waste management.
• Liaison with regulatory authorities on all permits and licences.
Who we're looking for
You should have previous experience of working within a Health and Safety role ideally gained within an aerospace or similar manufacturing environment. Your skill set should include:
• Detailed knowledge of HSE policies, procedures and programmes.
• Ability to lead, motivate and influence others to obtain objectives.
• Good understanding of environmental process controls and regulations, safety and occupational health rules and Honeywell program requirements.
• Ideally a holder of BSC or NEBOSH Safety Management certificate working towards Diploma.
