To support the Head of Estates and Facilities in the efficient and cost effective management of the Estate.
To ensure that all Estate's maintenance (including minor capital and revenue projects) are delivered and carried out to a high standard.
To act as point of contact for all Estates maintenance issues and minor improvements.
To act as the client for Capital projects managed by SLA suppliers.
To assist the Head of Estates and Facilities in the coordination of all space moves and relocations in an effective manner in order to maximise space usage.
To assist the Head of Estates and Facilities ensuring that the estate is managed safely and cost effectively within agreed statutory requirements
Who we're looking for
A relevant Degree qualification such as a BSc Building Surveying or Building Studies and relevant experience within the building industry
Proven track recordwhich must at some time have been within an NHS environment
Chartered membership or actively working towards chartered membership of professional institute such as RICS; CIOB etc.
Experienced in operational Estates and Facilities management.
Experienced in Managing Estates & Facilities Services including Statutory returns
Experienced in managing and monitoring external contractors/consultants through the use of SLA's.
