Procurement Manager - (Manpower & Outsourcing)

With specific responsibility for the category of Manpower (which includes Temporary Labour & Contact Centres) you will assist with the design & delivery of strategies for goods & services within the Indirect Team of General Procurement from a competitively selected and managed supplier base, contracting to commercially robust and advantageous terms, which provides the lowest total cost solutions to the business to required timescales.
As a member of the Indirect Team of General Procurement, you will promote the Procurement proposition to internal customers by strengthening General Procurement's role as a Business Partner, clearly communicating the benefits of Procurement's involvement and the value of process compliance.
You will assist in the delivery of the General Procurement service and enhance its capabilities and skills to deliver efficiencies by automating or eliminating transactional/routine tasks and improving processes to enable higher value add activities.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will ideally be Qualified Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (or equivalent) with extensive experience of outsourcing Customer Services Contact Centres for a large corporate organisation at a senior level with knowledge of both onshore & offshore operations. You will have a proven ability to produce complex Tender documentation including the use of e-sourcing tools for high value outsourced services as well as demonstrable experience of leading contract negotiations with suppliers of these Services.
