Reporting to the Lead Engineer the role of the Mechanical Engineer will be as follows
• Production of detailed technical specifications, including equipment functional specifications, process systems designs and system definition and specifications.
• Ensure satisfactory definition and implementation of the core plant technology systems based on the standard design provided
• Work closely with sub-contractors, check and approve detail design drawings. Check suppliers test specifications and possibly attend the tests at suppliers factories.
• Liaise with other engineers within the section to ensure the smooth delivery of the work.
• Presentation of information for design and safety reviews.
• Confirmation of final design compliance with negotiation of changes with customers where deviation from standard requirements arises.
•Travel within Europe will also be required for the role.

Who we're looking for
You will be a suitably qualified mechanical or process engineer with a working knowledge of the processing field covering design and specification.
You will have worked within the capacity of designing and and specifying process systems for a range of applications.
You will have managed team of sub-contractors within a multi-national organisation, alongside working with testing equipment.
