Group Financial Controller

Reporting into the Directors of the business, Group Financial Controller is responsible for providing timely management information. You will contribute considerably to the growth of the group and see this position as a significant career development opportunity.
The Financial Controller will work out of the central finance office located on the Isle of Wight and have responsibility for 2 members of staff. As well as the Isle of Wight, the business has interests in Jersey, Cornwall and the Canary Islands so there will also be additional reports from other venues.
You will play a crucial role in providing up-to-date management information and commentary, monetary strategy, budgets, cash flow forecasts and preparation of year end statutory accounts including consolidations for audit.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and to ideally have commercial experience, preferably in a similar industry sector. In your previous roles, you will have shown the expertise highlighted above and have excellent interpersonal skills. Your systems knowledge should include advanced Excel and ideally a good knowledge of SAGE. Due to the location of the other businesses within the group, an ability to deal with foreign currencies is very important.
