Senior Associate, Leveraged & Acquistion Finance

Your primary function in this role is to assist in building the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance business. Your objective will be to book transactions defined as leveraged and highly leveraged, including senior and subordinated debt, by working with Directors / Senior Business Managers. You will assist with the management of all aspects of a transaction; specifically the structuring of the leveraged transaction, construction of the credit application, liaison with credit counterparts to achieve credit approval, negotiation with the client/sponsor on the structure leading to final documentation and drawdown.

Who we're looking for
You must come from a credit background withprevious knowledgein institutional structuring leverage transactions. Academic/Technical training, in one of legal, finance, commerce, accounting, or similar is required. Training at a post-graduate level would be an advantage (CFA, MBA, MAF etc).
You will havehad exposurein structuring leveraged transactions with an excellent understanding of credit assessment, superior financial modelling skills, a sound understanding of accounting and tax issues. You will have practice in the preparation of periodic credit and operational reviews, strong skills in sales, client relationship and presentation skills and an understanding of corporate banking, business banking and credit risk management.
