Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a pivotal role within finance and requires a clear thinker with strong communication skills. The role will be responsible for providing a quarterly and monthly forecasting, reporting and analysis service to the companies headquarters. You will work closely with the Production Leaders and the Six Sigma teams to understand profitability at a detailed level and drive productivity and commerciality on the shop floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world leader and grow within the organisation. Key activities in the role will include:
Monthly, Quarterly forecasting, analysis and reporting cycle, involving liaison with customer programs, and operations teams.
Ownership of the annual SII and Operating Planning processes.
Working with operations teams to identify opportunities for profitability and productivity improvements.
Full engagement with fixed cost account holders to manage and control expenditure.
Close monitoring the financial results throughout the monthly closing process.
Leadership and coaching of the FMP on rotation.
Who we're looking for
- Strong communication skills and be career driven.
- Experience of been able to look at how a company performs and give added value advising in driving costs and profitability.
- Flexibility to relocate with the company down the line in order to progress.
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
- Strong operationally.
