As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing the store operation in the absence of the Store Manager. Within this store structure there will be two Team Leaders that report into the Store Manager. The responsibility will be separated into two distinct areas; sales and customer service.

Customer service - Task & Responsibilities
• Manage customer service of store operation in line with company measures
• Development and implementation of customer service plans
• Motivate co-workers to deliver the best possible service to customers
• Manage daily team communications, delegating and co-coordinating activities
• Responsible for workforce planning, daily routines and distribution of work in store
• Leadership and individual development of store team
• Implementation of customer service procedures in line with Clas Ohlson policies
• Maintain local market awareness of competitor's customer service procedures
• Maintain adherence to company health and safety procedures in store
• Ensure company procedures are followed in relation to security and cash handling
• Be a good representative of Clas Ohlson towards local authorities

Sales - Task & Responsibilities
• Manage sales performance of store operation within budget
• Development and implementation of plans to increase store sales
• Motivate co-workers to optimise sales in store and meet required KPI performance
• Implementation of commercial calendar in line with UK marketing strategy
• Development of training plan to improve co-worker knowledge of product and merchandising plans
• Manage daily team communications, delegating and co-coordinating activities
• Responsible for work force planning, daily routines and distribution of work load in store
• Leadership and personal development of part time co-workers
• Maintain local market awareness of customers and competition
• Ensure company procedures are followed in relation to security and cash handling
• Maintain adherence to company health and safety procedures in store
• Be a good representative of Clas Ohlson to local authorities
