Structured Finance Manager

This role is for a Structured Finance Manager who will work within a small, multicultural team of structured finance professionals who originate credit risk transfer transactions across Europe with specific focus on the European Union member states. The Structured Finance Manager participates in the different phases of Business Development, particularly the risk appraisal of new Structured Finance transactions. Main responsibilities will include:
• In depth analysis of new transactions including qualitative and quantitive aspects, identifying the available credit enhancement mechanisms, and potential weaknesses / risks of each transaction.
• Draft due diligence reports and recommendations in English.
• Negotiate transaction documentation, supporting the organisations legal team.
• Identify and originate new opportunities in accordance with the Business Plan.
• Manage and execute transaction processes.
• Keep abreast of relevant market practices, products and processes.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record within the Structured Finance arena, ideally having exposure to SME CLOs gained at a major bank, ratings agency or consultancy. Experience across a breadth of Securitised assets (ABS, RMBS, CMBS, Credit Cards etc) would be useful.
The essentials are:
• University degree/post grad qualificationin Finance/Economics.
• Proven experience as an Analyst within a Structured Finance environment.
• Excellent commercial understanding of the economic drivers of Structured Finance transactions in the field of SME Finance.
• Fluency in written and oral English and a second EU Language.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Origination, structuring and execution experience.
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-cultural team.
Ideally:
• Some knowledge of government / quasi-government guarantee/insurance schemes.

About our client
Our client is quasi-governmental organisation. The Guarantees & Securitisation Division has 12 team members who manage an exposure of portfolio guarantees and credit derivatives in excess of EUR 11 bn.
