The business is recruiting for a Global Segment Manager to take ownership of the shipbuilding segment from a marketing perspective. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director your role will be to develop the shipbuilding segment by developing appropriate market strategies with full ownership of both market share and profitability.
You will be expected to develop a full understanding of the segment from customer needs and market drivers though to monitoring technology trends and competitor activity and will utilise your knowledge to drive continuous growth and development within the segment.
Working cross functionally with R&D and Portfolio Management you will feedback on segment specific requirements for new products and solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for the smooth implementation and market launch of all additions and amendments to the product range.
Who we're looking for
The role would suit a segment Manager, senior product manager or commercial marketer with previous global industrial marketing experience. Ideally you will have experience of developing, managing and marketing an industrial solution in to the shipping industry.
You will be a commercially minded marketer, with the character and gravitas to work cross functionally. You will have both commercial and practical experience required to lead, develop and grow a segment and will have demonstrable experience in this area.
