Temporary to permanent buyer opportunity with a booming North East Manufacturer. Working in a busy and demanding environment, the role will involve supplier negotiations, rationalisation and analysis. Working within a team ,you will be expected to be able to hit the ground running and make an impact on cost quality and delivery within the specific areas you are responsible. You will be working with a diverse UK and internationally sourced commodity portfolio, mainly electronics, PCB's, plastics and microchips.

Who we're looking for
We are ideally seeking those candidates who have a proven track record working within purchasing. You will also be competent negotiation contracts and driving cost downs. You should also have the ability to thinks strategically and work well as a team. You will be CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS. Additionally, the candidate will feel competent with Microsoft IT packages and MRP system.
