Roles Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the profit and loss accountability of the store. Influence and coach department managers to forecast and manage all expenditure and costs of their department and deliver sales.
• Deputise for and support the Store Manager
• Responsible for driving the delivery of key People KPIs throughout the store including absence, labour turnover and wage management.
• Identify recruitment and training needs of the store and work with the management team to address these needs.
• Supervise People operations of the store including grievance and disciplinary procedures
• To drive & encourage the building of strong relationships throughout the store
• To lead by example and show colleagues and managers what a good job looks like

Who we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced customer focused management role
• An analytical approach with strong implementation skills
• High level of numeracy
• Experience of administration, process and operational HR practices in a fast paced customer environment.
• You should be cost-conscious and have an eye for detail
• Evidence of excellent leadership and coaching skills
• Able to deliver results with and through others using your influencing skills
• Process-driven and with the ability to be flexible within role

About our client
Our client have been trading for over 3 years and are based on out of town retail parks. This successful format is expanding and we are looking for managers to join the team. You will report to the Store Manager to ensure the effective performance of the process, People and Administration of the store. Heading up a team of colleagues you will make things happen in your store.

What's on offer
salary is flexible, from 18,000 to 30,000K + excellent benefits
