ROLES include:
• Delivery of sales, profit and bonus to drive the culture within the clothing department
• Forecast and manage all expenditure and costs of your department within business plan.
• On occasion, deputise for the store manager so that you will have total responsibility for the management of store colleagues and running of the store.
• Deliver industry leading shop keeping standards
• Accountable for leading, coaching and developing the Clothing team. To manage the performance of your team and succession plan to meet future needs
• To engage and motivate the team to deliver world class performance. To drive sales, events and promotions within the George department.
• Lead by example and show colleagues what a good job looks like
• To drive & encourage the building of strong relationships throughout the Clothing team

Who we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced customer focused management role; ideally in a clothing department
• Passionate about customer service.
• Strong commercial skills and experience of managing a P&L account
• Has an eye for detail, is creative and has a passion for clothing. Excellent merchandising skills
• Established leadership skills and evidence of coaching, developing and managing others. Able to deliver and engage through other people.
• Action orientated and evidence of strong selling skills.

About our client
These stores have been trading for over 3 years and are based on out of town retail parks. This successful format is expanding and we are looking for managers to join the team.

You will report to the Store Manager to ensure the effective performance of the clothing department. Heading up a team of approximately 20-30 colleagues, you will have the freedom and autonomy to make decisions in your department.

What's on offer
Salary is flexible and between 18,000 and 30,000K + excellent benefits
