The role requires the following responsibilities:

• Delivery of Sales, profit and bonus to drive the culture within the store
• Deliver industry leading shop keeping standards
• Accountable for leading, coaching, developing the management team. To manage the performance of their teams and succession plan to meet future needs.
• To champion the driving of a great place to work in the store
• To engage and motivate the team in driving sales to ensure an active selling culture within the store. Motivating the team to drive events and promotions within each department
• Leads by example and shows colleagues what a good job looks like
• To drive & encourage the building of strong relationships throughout the store teams
• To engage the store managers to deliver world class performance through and with their teams
• Forecast and manage all expenditure and costs within business plan.

Who we're looking for
• Excellent trading skills; ideally both non-food and clothing experience.
• Strong leadership skills and evidence of coaching, developing and managing managers. Able to deliver and engage through other people.
• Developed commercial skills and experience of managing a P&L account.
• An analytical and strategic thinker with high numeracy levels.
• Able to deliver change through others with strong influencing skills.
• Action orientated, entrepreneurial and evidence of strong selling skills

About our client
Mt client has trading for over 3 years and are based on out of town retail parks. This successful format is expanding and we are looking for managers to join the team. Your role will be to lead, coach, develop and motivate the store management team to deliver the store's business plan, sales, profit and bonus. You will ensure first class service to our customers at all times through the store team.

What's on offer
Salary between 30,000 and 45,000 + excellent benefits
