Online Marketing Manager

Supporting the Head of Online Marketing you will play a key role in driving forward the digital marketing strategy at O2. Specifically you will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing plans to drive new sales to new customers and cross sell and upsell products and propositions to new customers.

With one direct report you will also work across functions and providing digital leadership within the organisation and will ensure the deployment of a full range of digital marketing techniques including:

• Paid for and natural search.
• Affiliate Marketing.
• Online display.
• Viral marketing, including blogging and seeding.
• Other new and cutting edge digital marketing techniques.

The role will require a self-starter who is able to tackle problems and provide solutions -someone who identifies with what needs changing rather than waiting to be told. The online marketing team sits within the sales directorate of O2 and therefore there is a strong commercial focus with quarterly sales targets to achieve. This is a very exciting role within a growing team that is at the forefront of digital innovation in the telecommunications industry and beyond.

Who we're looking for
A confident self-starter with exceptional communication and influencing skills, you will be a results focused individual who will bring passion and excitement to this fantastic opportunity. As such the successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A core digital skill set including paid search, display and affiliate marketing.
• The ability to 'think digital - capable of innovating within digital marketing.
• Commercial acumen - the ability to understand and interpret business issues is essential.
• The ability to think differently - we are constantly looking to drive forward our digital strategy and try new things and as such the ability to demonstrate fresh thinking and make significant business change happened is key.
• A track record in managing agencies

Of course you will thrive on change and have an ability to work collaboratively across the whole business as you look to ensure we continue our innovative approach to digital marketing.
