As part of the global Legal team your role will be to conduct yourself as both the Legal Counsel and Contract Manager for the Isle of Man Office satellite operations.
The role requires cross business interaction within a diverse number of Group functions based internationally as well as dealing with external service providers.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Acting as Company Secretary of SES Satellite Leasing Limited as a member of the board
• Advising on all Business related legal matters to line managers
• Contract preparation and negotiation
• Compliance with national and international laws
• Regulatory and policy issue resolution as required with both the UK and IoM governments
• Compliance with all Company Secretarial tasks as laid out by the appropriate Corporate Governance Legislation regarding the role.

Who we're looking for
Above all you will be a self sufficient individual who is able to operate effectively as the standalone Legal representative in this business unit. You will however be integrated into the corporate legal team which is based across several locations world wide as well as participate in departmental meetings.
The successful candidate will have an excellent communication style and be able to adapt it accordingly as befits the situation at hand. You will be a team focused and highly organised individual with the ability to develop a solid legal framework in which the business can operate.
In addition you will have:
• UK /IOM law qualification
• A profile of success gained post qualification within a law firm or related Legal department
• Telecommunications experience (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent contract drafting skills

What's on offer
£40k to £55k depending on exp - tax favourable. Tax favourable.
