Marketing Manager

You will be reporting into the UK Managing Director where you will be responsible for all marketing activities which will ensure the successful launch of Clas Ohlson into the UK market. The role is twofold around store launches and brand development:
Store openings:
• Develop short term launch strategies for new store openings
• Create and implement local marketing plans including press, events and radio
• Ensure all campaigns drive instore traffic, maximise dwell time and increase basket spend
• Provide research into retailer and consumer reaction to store openings
Brand Awareness
• Create brand awareness of Clas Ohlson with the UK retail sector by delivering a calendar of marketing campaigns
• Develop instore promotions and trade marketing to support key campaigns
• Work closely with central marketing team to devise national and international strategies

Who we're looking for
You will be a motivate and enthusiastic marketer, ideally from the retail sector who has a drive to move your career forward within a rapidly expanding and innovative company. Your experience will include:
• Proven background with through the line marketing campaigns including branding, press, PR, events etc
• Experience within a multi site, preferably retail, business
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level
• Passion for retail and belief in the brand
• Consultative style and entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to see the bigger picture
• Innovative and creative approach
