This is a very good opportunity to become a member of the Group Financial Crime Management Team for a multi-national UK banking group. As a specialist within this team you will be responsible for the design, development, analysis and delivery of Anti-Money-Laundering, Fraud and Security management information and related analysis. This is a highly technical role and will involve both reactive and proactive work identifying trends, existing and emerging risks. You will also be looking to identify value adding opportunities to reduce losses, improve effectiveness of operations and improve standards of compliance.

This will require someone with a strong proven track record of applied use of analytical tools (eg Excel/ Access) within large-scale data environment. You will need to be able to deliver timely, accurate, complete and meaningful reporting to Group FC, the Business Units and external stakeholders and to provide analysis and interpretation of external data.

The role requires a proactive and developmental approach and you will be assisting in reviewing effectiveness of controls on a cyclical basis.

Who we're looking for
The right candidate for the Financial Crime Specialist position will have:
• Excel and other database tools.
• A background with one or more major financial institutions, retail or consumer lending areas.
• Exposure to MI and reporting
• Preferably an understanding of the Financial Crime environment and available MI.
