The Supply Chain Manager will coordinate a team of 15 individuals of varying capabilities delivering a consistent approach covering quality and delivery. The prime objectives will be to introduce and maintain measures covering materials movement both on and off site, controlling site procurement, production planning, warehouse,and liaising with customers.There will be potential to capitalise on group resource to assist with site objectives.The site has a full manufacturing capability covering both high mix, low volume, and hi-tech products. The Supply Chain Manager will also lead in MRP implementation in coordination with group strategy. The role will be based in the Crewe / Stoke / Northwich region.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be MCIPS qualified with a proven track record in manufacturing environments controlling purchasing and planning teams. The role will operate on a site basis, however inclusion on group projects will be required. An exposure to global supply chains would be a distinct advantage.
