• To provide basic skills support and development to members within a job-seeking framework
• To develop in members the language skills, motivation and confidence to enter or move towards the labour market, and to offer ongoing individualised support
• To provide a personalised assessment service and advise members and Personal Advisers of suitable courses of action
Who we're looking for
Someone who has:
• Recognised teaching qualification or studying for one.
• Knowledge of the National Core Curriculum in Adult Basic Skills
• Experience of delivering basic skills courses
• Strong commitment to equality of opportunity
• Ability to build sound relationships with people
• Creative, innovative and flexible in approach
• Ability to write courses and create learning materials
