This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with experience within the Financial Services.

Principal responsibilities will include:

• To operate and develop accounting policies and procedures and financial controls to safeguard the assets, in compliance with accepted principles and best practice.
• To administer holding companies and advise on accounting issues and standards with focus on the UK.
• To coordinate the preparation of annual expenditure budgets and to monitor and control expense transaction processing and spend vs budgets.
• To assist in the management and implementation of developments to the IT based systems and procedures in the Finance Group.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have:

• Educated to a degree level with an additional internationally accepted accountancy qualification, preferably with experience at a major accounting firm.
• Extensive experience within a finance function of a financial services organisation with direct exposure to fund management or the securities industry.
• Knowledge of investment management concepts and market standard methodologies for investment monitoring and analysis.
• Exposure to broad issues of fund administration.
• Good understanding of financial/investment systems.
